Warranty coverage
TruLight separates long-term equipment coverage from installation labor coverage. This summary explains the current terms in plain language. Your signed customer agreement is the controlling document.
Coverage at a glance
- Lights and control panels have limited lifetime coverage for up to 100,000 hours from completed installation.
- Parts and installation labor are covered for one year from completed installation.
- The warranty may transfer to a subsequent property owner when the current owner submits the transfer request through the TruLight customer portal before closing.
What is not covered
Warranty coverage does not include the following conditions:
- Wi-Fi, home-network, and device-connectivity problems
- Equipment that TruLight did not supply
- Accidental damage, misuse, abuse, or vandalism
- Property movement, settlement, shrinkage, or structural distortion
- Weather events, natural disasters, water, ice, and impacts from foreign objects
- Pollution, contact with dissimilar materials, airborne stains, mold, or mildew
